“A New Power” depicts the MSN-006-R:D Zeta Gundam “Egret” on a captured Titans maintenance platform with two battle-worn MSA-003 Nemos launching. The repaired Nemo, piloted by an ex-Zeon ace, gazes at the Zeta in admiration, recognizing its potential to turn the tide of a losing war.

​This custom was based on a drawing I completed in high school as a tribute to my favorite Gundam: the Zeta. To recreate it, I kitbashed the HG Barbatos (the primary frame) and combined elements from the HG Zeta, HG GP01Fb, and EG Nu. Spare parts were integrated to refine proportions and achieve a distinctive silhouette. Similarly, the supporting Nemos were kit bashed from HG Nemo and HG Shaldoll. All details were constructed with plastic card and epoxy putty. All components were painted with spray paints and weathered with acrylics. I only used genuine GUNPLA parts and decals in designing and building this model!

It took me 3 years to finish the build from concept to completion, and I took 1st place in the U20 USA division at GBWC 13 (2025).
