So, this build was kinda inspired by a mix of a couple things I love: giant robots, aircraft, tanks, and GIANT FLIPPIN’ SWORDS (I can’t be the only one who likes giant swords… right?). The initial ideas came to life from a sketch in my chem homework, and I eventually just ran with it. I really attempted to give it a militaristic/drone-like feel.

The completed build is primarily part-swapping & reorganization between the parts in the base kit and spares I had. Since it was a Build Fighters kit, I had a lot of extra parts to work with. The sword was build from scratch. I used rattle cans for most of it and then used acrylics for detail work & weathering. The base has a wood & styrene construction with some scribing & weathering.

I got 2nd place in the Advanced 1/144 Alternate Universe category at SCGMC 2021 and Bronze Tier at a local competition (Tatsu Hobby).

*EDIT 12/3/23: I placed 1st at GBWC in the U20 category!
