MG Providence Gundam Custom done. Took me a long time to get over the hump for this build. The thought of all that masking was just too daunting for me, but I finally got through it after using so much hobby tape.
This is the 3rd Seed MG I built from the J4 line of kits, which were notorious for getting broken by builders. I haven’t broken the joint yet for any of my kits so I’m happy with them so far. The kit is far to plain when you first snap build it out of the box. The opportunities for masking, to have color separation, and panel lining was massive. I got lots of inspiration from previous builds I saw online, and I just did it using the colors I wanted to use.
I did enjoy the build even if it took so long, so I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures too.
I think this kit really tests you on how detailed you want to get in terms of the final outcome you want to achieve. There’s just so much possibility with it, that you can customize, or not customize to your own liking.
