Finished with the Perfect Grade Exia Lighting Model. This is probably the best looking kit I have built from Bandai. It’s just bonkers how amazing it looks. The MG doesn’t hold a candle to how detailed, and how much gimmicks it has.
Anyway, I’ve been really busy IRL, and was not able to paint for some time, so this got delayed big time. Apologies to my client who had this commissioned. Really sorry for the long delays. First time I had a project go for so and so number of months.
In any case, here are some pictures. The weapons were really heavy, and his arms just couldn’t lift them long enough for me to take proper photos. The kit was already built when it was sent to me, so some disassembly was done before I got to continue painting. Also, acrylics chip when they contact the parts, so I didn’t want to ruin the paint by posing it weirdly with great action poses. Btw, this kit can really pose.
I’ll probably get one of these, maybe the regular no LED version, in the future. Need to save for that, as it’s gotten more expensive nowadays.
What else can I say? It’s bandai, it’s a perfect grade in all the sense that makes it a perfect grade kit. Top tier engineering, and build experience.
PS: the LED box had a battery leak from the owner, before I got it, so It won’t light up anymore. I tried by putting some batteries inside, and it won’t turn on. So that’s a shame.
