The G40 was a design that really intrigued me. I was admittedly unsure of how to progress with the build because I wanted to keep it as stock as possible to celebrate the kit.
I ended up keeping it as bare plastic with panel line details done with Gundam Marker and whatever stickers came in the box. I was worried that painting would cause me to lose a lot of the flexibility that was built into it and run the risk of scratching any work off.
This build is one I also experimented with doing seamline removal with just extra runner for gap filler and progressive sanding to smooth out and bring back the finish. Not exactly the most seamline heavy builds but there were a few that I was able to try it out on, namely the upper legs.
It was a fun build and I hope to see some of the mechanics used here to inform future design choices.
