This was an absolute beast of a kit. I had originally tried to do the full custom years ago, but my skills were nowhere close to ready at that point. Even now, the time that went into all of the pre-shading was substantial. Quite happy with the finish on the Gaia Star Bright Gold, but definitely the first kit where I had to count how many jars of paint I was using up just for it.
