The RG Eva Unit 1 is my first entry into the Real Grade line of kits. I usually try to stick to the 1/100 line since that was the line that I started with about 20 years ago. I was drawn to this kit because it is similar in size to the smaller 1/100 Gundam kits like the RX-78-2 and the kits from Gundam Wing. I enjoyed the build aside from a few tiny pieces and I am not a big fan of the multicolor pre-molded pieces like the biceps and the horns. Makes them a pain to paint since they are made of this rubbery material.
