This was my first time really getting into painting a kit. There are still some unpainted parts but the majority of it is. It was pretty nerve wracking and there were some hiccups but I think it went really well!

I heard before I bought it that it builds like an FM and I’d agree with that. It felt simpler than my other builds but it was a nice break. Plus, you can’t really tell that it’s fairly simple. With panel liner and decals, there is still a very healthy amount of detail. There are quite a few parts that had poor nub placement so if you’re not painting, there would most likely be small imperfections in the plastic.

All in all though, I really enjoyed this one! Very solid build and very unique.

For reference, I used Tamiya lacquer black mixed with Tamiya thinner to a ratio of 1P:3T at 15 psi. This was out of a H&S Ultra airbrush. I sprayed the inner frame in Tamiya Gunmetal at the same thinning ratio out of cheapo amazon airbrush. The panel liner was black Tamiya liner. For decals, the first half of the kit was the bandai waterslides that it came with but halfway through, I switched to Delpi. It was tied together with a flat clear coat.
