This kit was my first experiment with preshading! The colors weren’t what I was planning on at all as I wanted to go with a darker Freedom Gundam colorscheme. When I started painting and the colors came out more like the Crossbone X2’s I was surprised but not in a bad way! I’m very fond of this little guy. The masking for the build booster and hip railguns was a little tricky but adds a lot to the finished product imo! Overall this build was a good lesson in sticking to your guns and having faith that in my ability to pick colors and arrange them in a pleasing manner. The shading turned out great too!
