Half armor version of PG RX78-2 Unleashed. Fully painted the frame using four different shades of metallic paints from Gaianotes and Mr. Hobby.

I’ve always wanted an open hatch build for awhile and then Bandai finally announced this kit and I knew immediately I had to go with this version to showcase how impressive the engineering and design they put into it. This kit quickly became my favorite!

The simplification of the instructions and build progress has made it so easy even a beginner modeler wouldn’t have any issues with it. But with all that said the kit doesn’t come with water slides so make sure you pick up a 3rd party decal which is only a few bucks and it makes a whole world of difference compared to the conventional stickers.

This has been a fun journey for me and learned a lot along the way especially with painting metallics. I hope you like it🙂
