This is my Perfect Grade Unleashed Rx-78. I painted the entire kit except for the RG style molded frame parts at the base, I was worried about lacquer paint makng it brittle. I used G-Paint metallic paints on the frame (Dark Silver, Bright Silver, Copper and Pale Gold). The armor is painted in Mr Color Off-white, G-paint red, Mr Color Rx-78 Anime Red as well the their Anime Blue and Anime Yellow. I ran into a problem doing the matte top coat on the outer piece of the shield. Some kind of contamination hot in between the gloss coat and paint and it melted when the matte coat went on. After sanding it down and running it through my ultrasonic cleaner to remover the damaged paint, I ended up with a bunch off tiny holes. When I finish repairing the parts I’ll paint it up and add it back to the model. The kit still looks great without it tho!
