My second attempt at Airbrushing taught me a lot!
Tried to stick to the default colors but I went with a lighter, more vivid shade of green. Dabbled in painting the weapons but I think next time I’m gonna use colors that contrast with each other a lot more than the grey and gunmetal grey and chrome did. They ended up looking a bit too similar.
Tried to remove seam lines for the first time, i think I did ok but I can do better. Also need to improve my masking tape methods, the back of the legs got a bit of green in places I didn’t indent to and missed a couple spots of green too.
For the yellow, the only sticker I kept on the kit was the one on the helmet face.
Gotta learn to clean up panel lines a bit better too. Accidentally roughed a couple parts up trying to use isopropyl alcohol to remove Gundam marker. Thought the acrylic was safe because I had a gloss coat over it first but it still went straight through and ended up having to completely strip two pieces and paint them again.
Overall i think I did ok and learned a lot and I’m looking forward to the next kit!
