I was sent this kit by YJL himself in December of 2020 I kept telling myself I’d build it when I got the free time to tackle it. After 6 months I am finally done with the most demanding kit I have ever painted.

Kinda forgot to take progress photos so there will be a lack of those.

The main body at first seems oddly proportions but the more you look at it the more it grows on you & gives off an aura of power without the back pack the kit still has some possibility and balance. On the other hand there are so man sharp edges in the deign it is easy to chip your paint assembling this kit.

Something to keep in mind for future buildings follow the instructions and don’t skip ahead.

oh BTW E7 clear coat hates AnchoreT paint!! I forgot to mention I made my own clear resin casting for the eyes so I could ad LEDS. I also did one for the chest camera and forehead camera but canned the idea due to the annoying drilling and LED work for a little extra lighting.

There are still opening hatch gimmicks, but frankly It’s not worth stripping the paint to show off.

The backpack is beautiful complicated and heavy. I took the liberty of adding tiny details in areas that seemed like a blank void. maybe people will notice maybe they wont.

I unfortunately had to Pin the backpack to the main body of the kit. In my build I just found it was far too heavy for the normal backpack connection with just glue to hold in place. The backpack popped out and pushed the main body of the kit off the table. Needless to say this lead to damage to my paint job.

The weapons actually a lot of fun, I forgot to clean my wash on the inside of the shield… so that was a major error! That I didn’t notice till it was too late. Oh well.
