My first PG - from a kit that’s worringly close to as old as I am! It was given to me as a Christmas present from my roommate and their partner, and I was really nervous to start working on it. It took me a good three months, if only because there were long stretches of time where I knew I wasn’t in the zone enough to do it right.
I had a ton of help - shoutout to the owner of my local hobby shop that helped me retrofit a newer LED set up, my roommates for helping keep me sane, and my best friend for eternal encouragement - and I’m so proud of the result. Tim is my giant son whom I adore.
After this kit, I’m not afraid of anything! If I can do this, nothing will scare me the same way. It also makes me hope fervently for a Perfect Grade Unleashed Zaku II!
